Easter with the Family

We decided to have Easter dinner at our house this year. We invited Shereen's family over on Saturday evening. In the picture you see Andrew with his Uncle Bruce trying to set up a train track that will last long enough for them to play. It seems that Anika has a real nack for tearing apart train tracks.

Andrew at Swim Lessons

This was Andrews second time at swim lessons without a parrent. His class had a little free time on the totdock. Its a platform they put in the pool so that kids can stand. They pool is 3.5' at the shallow end. Thats over Andrews head.

Daddy wont buy me a Wii

I really want a Nintendo Wii. I was hoping to learn how to play tennis. But my dad said I was too young to have one. He said I would have to get the money myself. I heard on one of my dad's podcasts, Technorama, that Kreg had a Wii. (you can find Technorama at http://www.chuckchat.com) I figured that he must make a lot of money at his job because he has a Wii. So, I found out that Kreg was a web developer (and he is not a spider). My friend Isabelle said her mom does a little web development. So, when she left this book on the table, I just knew I had to read it. I hope someone will pay me enough to purchase that Wii. Wish me luck.

Andrew's Turn

Andrew takes his turn looking at the moon. He got really excited when I showed him how to turn the controls. It was going really great until he lost the moon. DAD, where did it go?

Look at the Moon

Anika is looking at the moon. It was a very nice day out and we decided to have a picnic dinner after Mom got home. There was a clear, deep blue sky and the moon was just over 1/2 full. I pulled out the telescope and we all took turns looking at the moon. The neighbors stopped by also and enjoyed looking through the telescope.

We are still here

I just wanted to put up a post saying that we are still here. I think I have finally caught up on a bunch of things and can get back into Blogging. We took a lot of pictures over the last two weeks and I should have something to post soon. I am also waiting for some pictures from my friend Laura. She got real proof that Anika is also a geek. More on that later.

We had a great Easter. Shereen's family came up for dinner on Saturday evening. It was relaxing and the food was great. Swedish meatballs from IKEA, Ham with Raisin sauce, Potato and Broccolli bake, and all the extras.

On Sunday, we played bells in church. We did an arrangement of Now the Green Blade Riseth, that has both bells and chorus. I love the piece because its very energetic and keeps me very busy. I was so into the piece that I did not even notice that my glove ripped. Oh well.

More later, have a great week everyone.
